This cookbook explains Thai cooking in easy to follow language. It's thick enough to contain all of the curries, soups, salads and noodle dishes you've heard of (and some that you probably haven't), but won't strain you're elbow when you're holding it in the kitchen.
Does it get any better than thai cooking? I don't think so. I'd love to add this book to my collection!
