I use this pan more than any other, for pasta sauce, when you then add the cooked pasta to the pan to combine all ingredients. This is my favorite and most-used pan.

Yeah, this is an excellent pan. Roomy, sturdy, not too terribly heavy given its size, and it sautes things beautifully. I use it to make sauces or to cook up large quantities of green veggies.

I like this extra large saute pan. It deep enough to make some serious sauces. A good saute pan is key, because great heat distribution will help caramilized the natural sugars in your ingredients, and that's what makes for an amazing sauce. (via kleins99)
