On February 8, 2008, Polaroid Corporation announced that it will discontinue production of all instant film. This sent me into a panic as I love Polaroid photography. The thought of this medium disappearing forever just struck me as impossible to my core. There's nothing else like it! I'm trying to have faith that another film manufacturer will pick up the slack and produce more film in this format. Currently, this is what I stock my camera with for that easy, portable photo that's quick, nonchalant, and nostalgic.
