The best podiatrist on the West coast recommended the higher series (8xx/9xx) of New Balance shoes based on a number of foot and body health factors that were too technical for me to remember, but when it came time to buy another pair of shoes, I decided to give them a try.

I am thrilled with the New Balance 965's. Even though they don't have that buttery feel some shoes have when I put them on, they are a pleasure to walk in and even make my driving more enjoyable. Plus, I figure I must be doing something good for my feet given the source of the recommendation. (via Dr. Jay Cocheba)

I ran across the mud in these and it was great. I tripped one time and even though my face was full of pooh it was an awesome experience!
