I'm so lusting after this game its not even funny. I was lucky enough to be gifted with a Playstation 3 a few months back and at the time was really waiting for Guitar Hero 3. Well, this looks even more fun! My inner frustrated rock star is very happy!

One of the most addicting party games available. If you liked Guitar Hero, then you'll LOVE Rock Band! The game is designed for the casual gamer, so you can literally pick it up the first time and after a little awkwardness, start enjoying yourself.

Amazing to play with a group of people. Feel like a rock star without the talent! The only downside is you have to keep playing the same songs over like a set list which can get tedious but with new downloads coming every week this game is super addicting! Also the endless wardrobe style and tattoo options will keep you occupied for ever! ROCK ON!

I am Meg White. Now that we have Rock Band and I can rip drum solos for screaming fans, I am only wearing red, white and black, Marc Jacobs is totally going to put me in an ad campaign and also Lomo is going to make a special limited-edition camera that is themed for ME. No, there will not be a sex tape. And my Jack White is totally not allowed to date Renee Zellweger. That hussy's trouble.

I have to admit, I was kind of skeptical about this to begin with. Seemed gimmicky. Seemed like a knock off of Guitar Hero. But it was hugely fun. And the drums are almost as good a workout as DDR.

As an avid worshipper of the game Guitar Hero (1, 2, 3 AND Rock the 80's) I've been looking forward to this game for a long time. I wasn't disappointed-- it's a lot of fun for people of all ages. I'm not certain if it's an issue for PS3, but for XBox 360 I would pick up the Guitar Hero guitar to use with Rock Band. The GH guitar is easier to use, especially for people with smaller hands (like carnies). We returned the original guitar per the instructions given by Harmonix, but the replacement guitar was just as awkward. The drumming option is especially fun, as is trying to imitate Thom Yorke's voice and cadence in "Creep." If you've been wondering whether or not to buy an Xbox 360, this game should provide the tipping point. Rock Band for XBox 360 has the option of purchasing additional song titles by bands like Metallica, The Police, Queen and even CCR for only 2 bucks a pop (and BUNDLES of songs by your favorite bands).

After playing Rock Band for a couple times, I must admit that it KICKS ASS! For me, playing the guitar was the hardest, drums were OK, but the singing part was the most fun. And after all, the vocalists get the hottest chicks, don't they? I also got a few 100% scores for my vocals, so now I'm considering auditioning for the next American Idol. Playing gigs with the Rock Band is still my #1 priority though, so my fellow rockers and fans shouldn't worry.

If you love Guitar Hero (like I do), Rock Band just blows it away. The guitars are easier to play because you don't have to press the buttons as hard. The drums are a whole new challenge, with real drum sticks and 4 pads to beat on. But the best is vocals. I loved that it added some effects to my voice to make it sound cooler. The characters are way more detailed and customizable, like a Mii (hair color and style, face type, etc). There's some overlap with GH on the music, like Black Sabbath's Paranoid. All the better to rock out with Ozzy as a 4 piece band!

You may think Rock Band is only for geeky wanna-be rock stars, but I can tell you that it is one of the best family games ever. It gets all four of us - me, my husband and my two sons (11 & 13) - out of our chairs and playing together. We laugh and encourage and compete between ourselves and celebrate when we hit an achievement. And if you've ever tried to engage a newly-sullen pre-teen, you know what a miracle this is. I never thought I'd say I can't live without a video game, but this one has provided such a great way for us to have fun together as a family - I'll be sad if the boys outgrow it!

I just played this game at a party with the guitar and drum set and was absolutely blown away by how fun it was. I did not want to stop. I tried both the drums and the guitar but the drums are by far superior. And playing along with your friends is a blast too. I highly recommend this game, for parties especially.

One of the most popular games of all time, a lot of my friends who don't like video games bought Xbox 360s just so they could play this at home. Tons of fun with groups!

I don't personally have RockBand, but friends of ours do and boy do we give it a lot of use. 6 of us have a band, and we each have particular songs we like to play. It's funny. The game is fun, and continues to be challenging, even if you "beat" it, I assume you can always do better, get more points, and it's very difficult. There are drums, a bass guitar, a guitar and vocals. You can trade off, which is what we like to do, and you can choose difficulty levels. You can customize a character, dress it up, tour the world. It's a great game and I never thought I'd like something like this.
