For about 5 years now, most of my trips have been accompanied by a carry-on, black little number by Boyt. Boyt's been making luggage for over 100 years, and their knowledge shows.

The Mach 5 line is one of their best, with super functional, ultra rugged pieces withe lifetime warranties. The wheels glide like silk, the telescoping handle resists millions of yanks with a one press button, and the easy grab zippers close and open with solid, crafted precision.

Nice little toches include tie down straps for compressing clothing or gear, small, integrated wet pouches, mesh screen pockets on the isnide front cover, and an expendable side handle designed for easy carrying as well as abuse. There are strong rubber stoppers on both sides, so whichever way you place (or the airline throws) your bag, it won't get crushed.
