If you're a Scrabble lover like I am (mind you, I'm nowhere near Scrabble-obsessed) and you play at home with your family, this is a great version of the game. (begin erudite snooty voice) I feel it is a structure worthy of the important exercises your brain does while competing in a thoroughly competitive round of Scrabble (end erudite snooty voice). GAG... it just looks cooler, k?

It seems like Scrabble has found a new fan with Facebook users playing virtual games that can span continents and in my case, several weeks! I do love a hands-on game though, especially when played on the Scrabble Premier Edition from Hasbro. This beautiful mahogany finished game board featuring a golden raised grid, lazy-susan spinning capabilities and built-in drawer is even on Oprah’s Favorite Things List.
It makes me appreciate the fun Scrabble-inspired furniture that Stephen Reed made for employees in the London offices of Bloomberg financial services. The staff can arrange the letter-printed cushions to leave a message, and it has me thinking just how fun would these be in your family room on games night?

Regular Scrabble is great, a Premier set is even better. Makes a great gift for the Scrabble lover who's stuck on the original board.

I'm not much of a game fan at all- in fact, you could chase me with the threat of a game night- but this version is stunning! Pair this classy, wooden Scrabble game with a nice glass of wine, some candles or at least some Sinatra playing, and I'd be all for it!
Also, a great game to keep for when you have guests over... parents, co-workers... and later, teach your kids! With such quality materials, it's hard to imagine it'd ever look ratty! (via StraightLine)

When you're family is all up in your apron strings as you're cooking that Holiday dinner, direct them to the living room and get them playing Scrabble. This gorgeous set isn't just a board game; the Premier Edition is practically a decorator piece.
By the way, never underestimate the power of the two letter word.

Hey, cool, Kitty, looks like you can truly channel Oprah! But she probably would also like the first T at zypcodes.com. It's her zyp, after all!
