Slap Shot is one of the classic comedies of all time. Paul Newman is incredible. In fact, all of hte actors are fantastic. If you don't laugh with the Hanson brothers (OK, maybe it is at them a few times) you have no sense of humor. Plus, seeing the 70s through the eyes of an industrial town gone bust is interesting.

Great comedy about a losing hockey team that gets better as they become more and more violent. Contains more swearing than just about any movie I've seen, and makes fun of Canadians too - what more could you want?
