I was looking for some in-the-ear headphones to use while jogging and other activities. Granted, the headphones are any where near a $200+ set of headphones. The sound is crisp, the bass is above decent and I am very pleased. The headphones come with three different sides of ear buds as well. Bonus of it all is they cost under $40, so if you are looking for some in-the-ear headphones to use during exercise or other activities, then I would suggest giving the Fontopia headphones a shot. These came highly recommended, and truely are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever used. The sound is very nice and perfectly blocks out all of my coworkers snorts, sniffles, low-playing-but-not-low-enough Creed music, and football blathering. It comes with soft caps (that insert into your ears) in different sizes, maximizing the fit for anyone's ears. Very thoughtful!

Superb headphones for the price. Solid, meaty bass and nice treble detail. They block almost all external sound too.
But here's the secret- you have to wear them correctly. These are ear canal headphones, not ear buds like you are probably used to. You have to fit the silicone pieces right and insert them deep into your ear canal- they'll sound weak and tiny if you don't.

I have a pair of these as well. My daughter also has a pair. We have small ear canals and we cannot fit just any earbud in our ears. These fit perfectly, help block out ambient noise from the outside and the sound is good in comparison to other more expensive earbuds.
The wires are fragile so you do have to take care of them but that would be true with most electronics. (via Staviean)
