The site also generates meal plans for you based on your food preferences and any health concerns you may have. Track your progress and earn points to virtual trophies.

Having a support group is important while dieting. Having a support group of people who are going through, or have gone through, what you are is invaluable.

If you, like most of us out there, are looking for a user friendly way to learn to set simple goals to get healthier, then Sparkpeople is exactly what you are looking for. Sparkpeople.com is one of the best diet and exercise resources available. It's free and easily accessible online. You can set weight, food or exercise goals, use their extensive database to track what you are actually eating as well as your progress towards your goals. And, there is a user forum with opportunities for support and insight from fellow users.

Sparkpeople is the only diet/exercise program I've ever seen that really does inspire and teach people how to set and achieve their goals of moving toward health and wellness.
