I love this journal. It would be great for elementary kids who are writing on their own, or even for younger kiddos who can dictate their thoughts to you to write down for them. There are lots of writing and drawing prompts to inspire the child. From the basics like "My hair is.." to things such as "Sometimes I have bad dreams about.." or "This year I learned how to.." There's spaces for holiday thoughts, and plenty of "free space" for journals and drawings/pictures that aren't prompted.
