E-Ink, bluetooth, linux. It's practically a PDA. At $3000 and with a 1 second refresh rate (?) this is only for the seriously early adopter. But mark my words, e-ink is the wave of the future.

Nice prediction, definitely coming true now. The Kindle is a fantastic reading experience due to this technology, and it is significantly cheaper than $3000.
Yeah. And I should update my #kindle recommendation too... We've taken one traveling, for which it is GREAT except two complaints:
1) The Kindle 2 doesn't read PDFs. This is a big problem because our travel books (Lonely Planet) are only sold as PDFs, so we have to apply this somewhat-painful, very lossy conversion process, which leaves us with random-ish text where the pictures used to be. The Kindle DX fixes this oversight.
2) Two pairs of eyes and just one Kindle!
