Ok, so these may seem like a conventional gift, but really, how often do people buy food storage containers for their loved ones? Not very, but here is my take on it. Since I have gotten these, I use very little plastic bags, disposable tupperware and plastic wrap. For those with or without the world landfills in mind, this set has to be one of the most valuable things I own. The glass can't be traditionally recycled (nor can most any other microwave-proof glass, but then again, you'll probably be storing your grand-kids food in them!
