this little cutie is a great amp, brings the retro aesthetic and delivers a wonderful variety of tones. it can be clean and spanky as well as just plain loud and overdrived. I bought mine while in hawaii, the image does not do it justice. it is a much nicer blue in person. it has a headphone jack, and option for batteries or AC adapter.

Lol. I don't play guitar though. My daddy does? hmm. I actually think I might get him this for his next birthday...or christmas. cute.

It's a great little amplifier, easy and portable, good sound. It runs on a 9V battery and came with its own Danelectro brand installed. I found that when the battery power is below it's mid-range, the unit malfunctions -the sound gets raspy and fades in and out. It needs a full-power battery. The battery connection on mine is also strange - I can't snap in Duracells at all, and Energizers with great difficulty. I fear that with repeated changes of the battery the connection device will break. Time will tell.

I noticed that too how it fades in and out as well. I haven't tried new batteries yet. I think I'll go to a radioshack and find a proper AC adapter.
