I am not a huge fan of having noise when I am trying to sleep, but my mom swears by ambient noise of nature when she is drifting to dreamland.

I love rain sounds and I love sleeping. This is a great idea for taking naps or even just falling asleep at night. Sometimes when it's too quiet my mind wanders more than if there's a subtle noise to relax too, such as a fan. but falling asleep to the sound of rain sounds lovely. I'll have to try!
