I thought my appliance shopping task was finished when I discovered the Samsung washer-dryer, but noooo, I had to go to the Consumer Reports site to 'double-check' before making my purchase. 3 hours later and no final decision yet - I am now debating between the Samsung, the Kenmore and the LG. All received basically the same high ranking by Consumer Reports.
Kenmore is a Sears private label brand, and it's not any cheaper than the other brands. This Elite model received 79 out of 100 by Consumer Reports, falling short only to the LG Tromm, which ranked at 83, mainly beating the others because of its 'gentle' capability (which is not too important for me).
I can't believe I'm opting for the black color option. It so reminds me of the 80's and Z-gallery.
