I have boys, so we're not exactly baby doll experts. But a few years back, a friend gave us a Corolle baby doll, and it was the most wonderful gift ever. Corolle dolls are beautifully made--they are soft and snuggly and extremely durable (boys tend to throw their baby dolls as often as they snuggle them). And Corolle dolls are vanilla scented (yes, really!) which I suspect is why my sons love ours so much. Because really, it smells a little like a cookie . . .

Send your favorite niece or your best friend's new baby girl a Corolle baby doll. She will love it for years. Or she will toss it like a football, but I promise the doll can take it.

These dolls are so soft and cuddly and they smell like VANILLA! They were a hit with both my nieces, ages 4 and 6 at the time I gave these as birthday presents.
