This is the best set to get, because all the pieces included are highly functional. I am a fan of all-clad's stainless cookware because they can be thrown in the dishwasher (except the nonsick pieces). I also love it that the handles stay cool. I do lose some performance since stainless does not conduct heat as well as aluminum (the aluminum lines are better cookware but require handwashing). For me, the trade-off is worthwhile, but my serious foodie friends do not agree at all.
