There's nothing wrong with drinking a little white wine with that New York Strip off the grill. White with red meat? Red with white meat? We call it two thirds "patriotic." Oooh! This is one of the most elegant wine decanters I've seen yet. It looks like a display-version of a very expensive bottle of perfume. (I'm sure the serious oenophiles are rolling their eyes right about now.) The rapid cooling is fantastic, since at least one of the ladies in my wine--ahem--book club will forget her beverage contribution until she's 2 blocks away and grabs a warm bottle of white from the corner store. Knowing our love of books, we need every bottle ready to drink as quickly as possible.
