Classic A-line skirt: Banana Republic

I went to boarding school, so we had to be in "dress code" for about 4/5 of the year - when there was 6ft of snow on the ground, they weren't quite as tough about it - but i still had to find lots of good basics that could take a beating. banana republic makes good, conservative, a-line skirts every season - i buy khaki and black religiously once a year- and they are great for all occasions. and at 79 dollars (but they do go on sale - i've gotten some of the "spring" colors like sky blue and key lime pie as low as 24.99), the price point is on point.
