Kick Push - do you remember that song, well the instant I heard it I was like, yo who is Lupe Fiasco! I knew he was on Kanye's Touch the Sky and that intrigued me, but Kick Push made me buy the CD. Now while I admit I couldn't wait for the CD to come out so I got a burned copy BUT once the CD came out I went and bought two albums, one for my house and one for my car - yup I loved the CD that much! Food & Liquor to me was like when I first heard Kanye's College Dropout - fresh. He wasn't talking about the crap that everyone else was; his lyrics and style were fresh and refreshing to hear. Sunshine will always be my favorite song off this album

the first time i heard of lupe fiasco, i wondered, what kind of name is that? then i heard, "kick, push." dude, i'm an 80s baby, all you have to do is talk skateboarder love to me and i'm all yours. i wish i could write like this kid. "american terrorist," one of the highlights of this album for me.
