A movie that was overlooked by many but for me I loved it. A modern film noir with witty dialogue. I don't think any older generations would like this in the least; it appeals much more to younger generations. I think of it like a mix of a film noir, with a dash of Lynch. Joseph Gordon-Levitt plays his part to perfection.
Brick qualifies as a puzzle film mainly due to it's unique slang. I first saw Brick at a local film fest and they handed out little dictionaries before it screened. Beyond that, the film is a pretty terrific neo-noir with mysterious characters and fast-paced scenes.
