The best peeler I have ever used-we have had the same one for ten years and it's still sharp.

Superior peeling device. I don't peel a lot of things, but it makes short work of trimming the ends of asparagus. Great grip. (via brianprestoncampbell)

A veggie peeler should be short and fat (rather than long and skiny), so the blade is articulated. That means you can get around a mango in one go. (via Cooking.com)

Vegetable peelers themselves are essential to efficiency in the kitchen, but OXO's Good Grips Swivel Peeler is so easy to use that it takes the work out of peeling.
