It may not be obvious enough that I'm a huge geek, but this recommendation should put any uneasiness about the size of my geekiness to rest.

Wil Wheaton, actor known as "oh my god, i hate Wesley Crusher" to Star Trek fans, and for his role in Stand by Me to the rest of the world has grown up. He's married, has two kids and a wonderful wife, and he's not a child actor anymore. He's publishes a couple of books, has a blog very much worth reading and is moving into the world of comic books. He's cool. Yeah, in a geeky sort of way, but you'd like to hang out with him.
