This is an incredible camera, easily outclassing any 35mm SLR out there.

Most of the photographs in my book Blue Monday (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/8496540537/audc-20) were taken with a g2. It handily beat a Canon 5D for sharpness, picture quality, and distortion.

You can treat this little camera like a point and shoot and you will get professional quality results. Night shots of cityscapes? No problem. I had one published in a full bleed, glossy 11 x 8.8" journal even though the editor at first said she never printed 35mm shots.

Add to this performance great looks and a solid build an you have one of the best cameras ever made.

I would heartily recommend the 28mm lens. The biogon design sticks deep into the camera body, allowing it to handily outperform any wide angle lens on an SLR in terms of distortion.
