Because I have finally joined the ranks of people that can control the economy's of third world nations from my phone, that's why I bought it. Also I had too much in my pocket, the best part is that i can also check email from my phone. So when I'm at the beach this summer, I can still plug in. I know that might seem absurd, but being able to check email from a distant locale is actually liberating, because I still feel like I'm in touch. It's important, especially when trying to relax. But I'm watching for the iPhone.

It's your phone along with email, messaging, and web access. A whole lotta other stuff as well, which I don't use. The perfect road warrior device with very decent battery life.

I own it. I've had it for 3 days and it's changed my life. I could NEVER go back to a regular phone. Web browsing, text messaging, email and phone, everything is integrated so well it's a smartphone wet dream. The only downer is that I have cingular and service in LA blows. At least I can look cool with my phone as cingular drops my call.
