It's funny how life works.

I usually have good skin with an occasional blemish every now and then. Well, on a Friday morning I woke up to a huge pimple on my cheek (cannot ignore that!) and I had about 2 days before a big family event (tons of pics that were going to be taken), to get rid of it. It was that day I saw the Mario Badescu Drying Lotion I had been asked to review and I hoped that it would work as well as I have heard over the years.

I decided to begin my assault that morning a few hours before work, Although the product is meant for over night use because it leaves little pink clay dots on the skin where it is applied. (Not attractive but I can live with it). I made sure to use it as per the instructions (not shaking the bottle, instead putting the q tip directly into the bottom of the bottle and pulling it straight out so that the pink clay lotion surrounds the tip). I applied it to my pimple and went back to bed. I woke up a few hours later to begin getting ready for work and rinsed it off. While it obviously had not dissapeared, it was noticably less red and a tiny bit smaller. So far so good...

That evening before bed I used it in the same manner and the next morning it was much smaller and had almost completely dried up, without irritating the rest of the skin around it. That night I repeated the process and the day of the event just used a small dab of concealer and I could not see anything.

I would say that if you have signifinant acne, then you need a intensive acne skin care/prescription product, but for those of you who get an occasional pimple, skin irritation and/or white heads this is a fantastic product, (and given a day or two) will clear them up completely. It should be noted that the packaging is glass, so it should be wrapped and sealed in a zip lock bag when you travel to avoid breakage.

This product will always be in my skin care collection, no matter what! Since just a tiny bit is needed for a pimple, (and if you have them infrequently), this will easily last a year, also making it a smart skin care investment treatment. (via Palacinka)

This is for real amazing. Around $18 and not a bad price! Wash your face normally, then apply this to any breakout. The pimple lifespan on your face will be cut in half. It's sad to see things die, but not a pimple!
