Here's the various conduit sizes you can use to build a shade structure. Although 10' lengths of the 3/4" are only $3.97 each, I think I'm going to go with the 1" tubing that is $6.97 each. I've seen that 3/4" stuff bend in a dust storm, and I plan on having my shade structure right next to my truck, no failures resulting in truck damage are acceptable!
