Why spend a ton of money on a stroller that you're only going to use for one-year?
This puppy converts into several different things...it has a three piece starter kit. "The Infant Car Seat easily docks into both the Stroller and Base. Better yet, future Orbit seats will allow the kit to grow as your baby grows."
And it looks cool too.

This is a smart stroller / car seat / infant carrier system because it can grow with your baby. Once baby becomes a toddler you can simply add the toddler seat and not have to replace everything. The toddler seat works in rear facing position with the base, and in forward facing position without the base. So if you have a friend that has a baby, you can gradually hand down each piece of your Orbit Set as you no longer need them.
