Love this stylish USB & FireWire combination hub for PC or Mac.

Designed exclusively for LaCie by Ora-Ïto, the Huby’s round shape, glossy white polycarbonate finish, and flexible cables give it a distinctive, modern look. Add 4 USB ports and 2 FireWire ports to your computer system and connect up to six devices simultaneously*. Bundled with 8 flexible, twistable cables (5 USB 2.0 & 3 FireWire 400), a USB fan, a USB light, a USB extension cable and a FireWire 400 extension cable, it comes fully equipped for easily making all of your connections.

Fabulous gift!

Very clever way of getting over the idea of hiding all those wires, and it provides easy access to ports, too. (via Uncrate)

When I discovered this, I had to have it. Partly, it's because I'm a bit over unplugging and replugging my peripherals. But mainly 'cause it looks so cool!

Just by its self, it's pretty fantastic like a high tech sculpture! But its intended purpose is to give you 7 USB ports. "Each port is linked to a colorful LED that luminates through the casing when plugged in. The is also great for charging your iPod, camera, cell phone and other devices that charge from a USB port. " Works with Mac or PC.

It seems like today every device from cell phones to digital cameras make use of the USB cabling standard. Therefore, USB clutter is now very common with home/office desks everywhere. Ora-ito has created a solution to this clutter problem with their HUB. It can take up to 7 devices and organizes the cabling with 7 different color coded plugs.

At any given time, I connect my computer to my camera, my iPod, to my Firelite, etc. I could go with an ordinary USB port but this one take the cake.

With seven USB ports, this device makes USB extensions pretty.
