I started using Stevia in my diet because I didn't think is was necessarily a good thing to use too much Splenda and Nutrasweet as subs for sugar. I still use some Splenda, but as for Stevia, its been used for around 1500 years or so with no bad press. Plus, it has no calories and is 100% natural.
Stevia is also said to help control blood sugar levels, according to my naturopath. (via healthyshopping.com)

I just started using Stevia instead of Splenda at home a few months ago. Like ASewell said, its awesome how it has no calories and no bad press :) Tastes great too.
