I bought this trainer, as I wanted to maximize the use of my mountain bike. It's a great thing to have during the winter months, or year round, if you have a bike that's sitting in your basement, doing nada. It's not that noisy (used it in a condo, and my downstairs neighbour never complained) and has more level of resistance than you could possibly use! Sweat it out!
