Eats, Shoots & Leaves: The Zero Tolerance Approach to Punctuation | Lynne Truss
Education is always easier when you have a teacher who makes it fun. Cue Lynne Truss. Countless times throughout this book I found myself laughing out loud. Truss, with her no-nonsense grammatical wit, created this book for everyone who's ever complained about punctuation.
Grammar can be fun! At least with Lynne Truss, armed with a venerable British wit that's a cross between Douglas Adams and P.G. Wodehouse. You can actually learn some grammar ground rules here, but really, it's just a fun book. You'll laugh out loud at least once. Apparently, the Queen has been told the 'Panda Joke'. I'll let you buy the book to hear it. Also, I'm going to admit it right here: I, too, have found myself addicted to semicolons.
