I love penguins, love them, especially the babies -- man they are cute. I asked for March of the Penguins for Christmas but instead I got Happy Feet. Yeah, not the same ... at all. I ended up watching March of the Penguins at a friends house Christmas night, it was a Christmas miracle. The movie was great. It was informative and pretty darn fascinating for it being a bunch of penguins with Morgan Freeman's voice over them.

This movie is so good. It's a 80 min documentary about Empire Penguins. I def cried for at least 82 min....just saying... (via amazon.com)

Penguins happen to be my favorite animal and this is a gorgeous documentary done by a wonderful French film maker about emperor penguins!

Really, it's one of the better documentaries in recent years. I know, penguins walking, how much fun could that be? A lot, actually. It's truly heartfelt and, at times, heart breaking. But, in the end, it is nothing short of magnificent.
