Sparkling wine in a pink can with its own detachable drink-box straw. Simultaneously classy and trashy. And it will mess you up good!

I got these at Francis Ford Coppola Vineyards while tasting there, and let me say that these are just like the mini apple juice cans you can get from tree top. Easy to drink, cute packaging and fairly inexpensive!

The packaging sold me again on this one..

if i honestly had to say "why i love this", i wouldn't write anything. it's just a gimmick, really: a can with a little sippy straw. we used this to make mimosas in the restaurant i used to work at, and i couldn't ever figure out why anyone would order it straight. it won't kill you, i guess. and it's cheap and comes in said pink can with a straw. good for giving to kids and telling them it's red bull.

i'm amazed i wasn't fired.

Sofia Mini Blanc de Blancs is not something I would drink on a regular basis; not even on a semi-regular basis. It's not so horrible that I couldn’t finish the entire can (which the bartender actually poured into a glass for me), but I also had no other choice, and as I have said before, "boozers can't be choosers."

While I can appreciate the novelty of its being in a can, I can’t quite understand how the convenience of a portable 4-pack overrides a better tasting bottle in a bar. Still, I suppose it would be fun to do the Capri Sun thing if I were at the beach (ha! but I never go to the beach, so there!)

Here's the stuff for the wine geeks: it's made of 70% Pinot Blanc, 20% Sauvignon Blanc, 10% Muscat Cannelli.
