SlimSlimmy wallet

I've been on a quest to find a small, thin, but usable wallet. I decided to give the Slimmy a try after seeing the SlimSlimmy recommended on ThisNext. I chose the Slimmy because I only wanted to fold my cash once. The SlimSlimmy requires folding US currency in thirds which makes it thicker.

I am very happy so far with my Slimmy wallet. I can easily fit 3 ATM/credit cards, drivers license, 2 insurance cards, 2 folded checks, Ichima Sushi VIP card, and folded cash (up to 10 or so bills at my comfort level). The wallet obviously can't make any of that thinner, but at least it doesn't add much thickness and the leather has a nice look and feel.

An empty Slimmy is actually a smidge thicker than the fine woven wallet I bought in Sagada (a remote mountain village in the Philippines) so their claim of "slimmest wallet on Earth" is not entirely true; but overall the Slimmy has a much smaller profile and is much easier to procure so I am happy to own and recommend it.

Note: Stay away from the Jimi also sold by Koyono and others. That plastic wallet had great marketing, but was unecessarily thick and fell apart on me after a month. (via bzipkin)

Great alternative to massive, George Costanza wallets. Organize your money and cards and carry it in either your front or back pocket. The size alone forces you to better manage the content of your wallet and, as a result, your finances.

Hi - Thanks for the mention! Just wanted to let you know that a new website is being developed just for the Slimmy. If you are a front pocket enthusiast and someone for can;t stand clutter, you might want to check it out.

i bought this wallet for my husband a couple christmas's ago. he absolutely did not want a wallet, but needed something to organize his credit cards, drivers license, etc. it's great for those that are wallet adverse. it's small, unobtrusive, well made and great for limiting "junk". he loves his and i'll probably end up getting him another one whenever this one wears out (but two years and it's holding up perfectly).

this wallet is super sweet. but i really wanted to carry around all my gift cards, and all the other stuff. i was searching for a way to keep all those 'other' things organized. i saw on the news a company called leveragecard.com that allowed their users to register their gift cards and keep track of all those things for free. it's a sweet combination with the wallet, and an electronic wallet.

It just fits so well in the front pocket. Slide. In. That's it. I've had to reduce the number of cards I carry with me though, and I wish I could carry even less. In it goes 2 credit cards, a bank card, a loyalty card, 2 IDs, a bus pass, and bit of cash. It has been a year since I started using this wallet, and I don't miss the stuff I've had to leave out. Seems obvious right? Your wallet. But how sad would you be if you waiting in line for hours or even days and forgot your wallet!! So terrible. You might also want to check your bank balance nothing says embarrassing like getting your card declined once you get up there. Ouch.
