If we'd had a great teaching tool like this back in the 70's maybe we'd be metric like the rest of the world! Wooden pieces show how different combinations add up to the same thing... a wonderful way to get hands on with math. The wooden pieces are super cool, too. Also comes with a deck of math activity cards that you can use with the wooden pieces.
