I am so in love with this little gadget I can barely stand it. I can now view, record and export (to iTunes) analog, digital or cable/satellite television shows on my Mac. The new 3.0 software allows me to stream programs via wi-fi to other computers in my home. It's just like Tivo only without the monthly service charge.
Well... maybe not just like Tivo- I can only record one program at a time, for example. But I can keep a little screen open to my favorite show while I work-- but of course, I NEVER do that.
Oh- and I'm digitizing all my old family 8mm and VHS tapes, too.
