This flat iron gets hotter than my current CHI, therefore straightens better. I like how it fits in my hand as I straighten and smooth my hair. This is a great flat iron for the price. It works on my medium thick wavy hair, as well as my daugther's extremely thick, curly hair. Please buy this one if you cannot afford more expensive flat irons!
