"The Story of Chickenman" is a wonderful gift for anyone who is familiar with the daily radio serial from the late 1960s/early 1970s. The "thank you's" on the website are a moving tribute to the place Chickenman holds in the hearts of so many people -- especially veterans who heard it while serving in the Armed Forces.

Chickenman's creator, Dick Orkin (who went on to a stellar career creating brilliantly funny radio commercials) put together this collector's package himself, from the original master tapes. (You can hear an entire episode from the website, showing how the Wonderful White Winged Warrior selected the costume that would "strike terror into the hearts of criminals everywhere.")

In short: Every "Chickenman" episode that ever was broadcast on radio, along with lots of the station "promos" that were aired to promote the show. 14-CD collector's package. Not cheap. But for a Chickenman fan, it's perfect.
