A beguiling mystery thriller with a sense of erotic menace as a naive young actress (Naomi Watts) arrives in LA and becomes involved with a woman (Laura Ellen Harring) suffering from amnesia after a car accident. This is a great David Lynch movie which needs to be seen a few times to be understood. (via Rose Poirier)

A frustrating movie the first time you see it, as most of Lynch's films are, but on subsequent viewings, the payoff is great. Find a guide to the film if you don't get it on the second time through.

When you see this abstractly shaped key that opens the box with the people who ate too many shrooms you'll know the deed has been done. (via Overstock)

Probably the greatest movie of the new millenium, and perhaps of all time. It kind of creeps up on you, and I have watched it several times, growing more and more in love with every frame with each viewing. It's dark, funny, creepy, terifying, mysterious, beautiful, and moving. A must see. (via Jimmy)

The first time I saw this movie when it ended I sat back and said, "what the hell was that all about?" Now that I've seen it several times it's become a favorite. You can't watch it just once. With each viewing comes new realizations. All part of David Lynch's genius. (via John Polinsky)
