The frame contains a tray in which you place the high-tech growing medium, made up tiny sponge balls impregnated with nutrients. Sprinkle the prairie grass seed on top, water and wait. After about a week the grass will sprout and start to grow. Keep it trimmed or let it grow wild, it's your choice! It will last for 4-5 months, after which time you can buy a refill kit and start all over again. So much greener than cut flowers! These frames are narrow, so they can be hung on a wall.
