Clean, crisp, white linen in a classic form and then:
"Opposite her was a little stool for the cat, before whom was a little porringer of gold, filled with little fried fish and the thighs of snipes. At one side was a bowl of rich crystal filled with fresh milk. The table was served by gazelles who were marvellously adroit."
