I have always insisted on frosting the bottom portion of all my windows. Its about privacy and not always wanting to see what's going on outside without isolating myself in darkness. If you're really curious about the world at large you can stand up and just look over the frosting.

This series of film products you can apply to your window come in several repeating patterns or a series silhouettes of potted plants.

The price is right even though you have to wait a bit for the goodies to ship across the pond.

Very cool. I'm glad people are figuring out how to make frosted windows chic.

Etcetera's recommendation

Instead of drawing the blinds or frosting your windows, use this film instead. A good way to keep your privacy and enjoy the daylight. (via loft3)
