"super glue your fingers together" or "boil water in a paper cup". Lately we have all become so fixated on protecting our children from every bump, scrape and germ that we forget kids are naturally little scientists. Babys babble to experiment with words and sound. Kids fearlessly climb trees. Why not assist your children in learning about their environment and pushing their boundaries by doing all these things together? I'm so getting one of these for my little nieces and nephews!

The idea of this thin book is that danger is something kids need to learn to handle by experience. The 50 small experiments in this book can potentially cause a minor injury (although they are unlikely to), but are never really seriously dangerous. In fact most of them aren't dangerous at all, but at least they are fun.
