If you are looking for a bold, striking lip that’s not too dramatic or showy then this is the color! The formula itself is very pigmented (no sheerness here) with a soft satiny shine, without shimmer. The texture was smooth, and was very moisturizing for my dry lips. This is a long lasting formula, so the lasting power was fantastic and also worked well in humid weather for me. It is non-scented.

This color is a dynamic medium-toned pink that will work well with many skin tones, best up to a Gabrielle Union shade. The packaging, as with all of the Dior products, is exquisite, glamorous and yet still simple. It’s the classic deep blue Dior’s cased with a touch of silver. Long-wear lipstick tends to be heavy, dry and chalky, but Dior Rouge is very light and moisturizing. It holds up when drinking, but not as well during a meal.
