Screen legend Marlene Dietrich was a master at making herself look perfect on-screen - she controlled her lighting on-set, designed many of her own costumes and did her own make-up. Watch one of her films to see how impeccable she always looked - her face sultry, glowing, flawless.
She would have loved High Beam by Benefit. Don't be put off by the fact it looks like a nail polish bottle, you'll soon be addicted to the pretty, soft glow it gives your skin. It's easy to apply, long-lasting and makes you look younger, healthier and more awake - it might be all you need in fact! Because it's liquid, it's easy to control the amount you use and you can add as much or as little as you like. Use it on your brow bone to give your eye a major lift, and the tops of your cheekbones - you'll be tempted to mug like Zoolander!

I love the flushed dewy look on cheeks and skin, and this frosty pink is very feminine and lovely.

Every time I use this people comment on how "glowing" my completion looks. I just dab it on my cheekbones, under my eyebrows and on the inside corners of my eyes.

This is my favorite Benefit product! High Beam is a brightening cream that spreads like no other and sticks there all day. Its the perfect combination of shimmer (not glitter, like some) and a light pink color. I apply this on the tops of my cheeks and the inner corners of my eyes, near the tear duct (just be careful, if it gets in your eyes, it burns a little). It can draw attention to your favorite facial features in a subtle, sweet way. I also mix a little of this with my lip gloss if it's one of those days.

This is really beautiful as a highlighter along the cheekbone, brow bone, or anywhere else you want to give your skin an amazing dewy glow! It looks so pretty when the light catches these areas, and a little goes a long way, so you don't need much to make your skin glow. (via Benefit)
