This movie is all about the guts of Minor League life before the elusive glory of Major League acceptance . . . the place where the players truly struggle to continuing getting paid to play, where non-English speaking immigrants bond with American players barely out of high school, where the rewards are meager but the stakes are high. A must-see for any fan of the game.
