Great fan that I use in my room. comes with a remote control that has settings for Power, timer, oscillation, fan speeds (3 options), and fresh air ionizer. The tower fan is 48" tall and its easy to assemble. In fact it's so easy I didn't even bother to put the screws in to keep it stable at the base. Of course mine is on carpet but hey do what ever makes ya happy.
The air flow varies with the three different speeds. Speed 1- low, Speed 2- medium, and Speed 3- fast (via Lasko Products model 4820)

Tower fans are way better than normal circular fans.

This is the perfect fan for hot sticky summers. With a timer, three effective speeds, and rotating action I can cool off quickly and in any way I like. As an added bonus it comes with a remote control so you never have to leave the couch. By far the best purchase I've made in a while - if you don't have an air conditioner you NEED this fan!

Quiet and powerful. My Lasko fan has saved me from the brutal SoCal summers for the past two years. I love how it's a space saver and has programmable functions.
