Those of you who know me probably know that a) I hate garbage "indie" music from the 2000's and b) I like to rock. Death From Above 1979 is the ONLY band in the history of indie rock music to ever hold a place in my cold, black, evil little heart. First described to me as a "glam disco noise rock band" these Canadian guys are a drums/synth/bass duo (but how Justin....you listed 3 instruments and not one of them is a guitar?!?!) and they kick serious booty. Too bad they disbanded after 1 album. Song to check out: Going Steady.
